Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Pickleball, played with a paddle and plastic ball, is played indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. At CRC Pickleball is played outdoors on the paddle court and inside on newly-lined tennis courts at specific times. Court rental is $5 per hour and a half per person.

Pickleball Equipment

CRC pro shop sells Pickleball paddles and balls. The paddle is smaller than a tennis racquet but larger than a ping-pong paddle. The balls are plastic with holes through it like a Wiffle ball. Loaner paddles are available from CRC front desk.
Pickleball continues to grow in the Indianapolis areas. Don’t forget, you can purchase your pickleball paddles and balls at CRC pro shop. Watch the CRC web page, Facebook, and bulletin board for up-coming events.

Here are a few photos of February pickleball events.
